Frank Cardia started his career as a Registered Representative in 1996. He spent the next several years mastering the public markets and building a multimillion-dollar book of clients. He soon recognized the value of the long-term asset management approach and shifted his business model and overall investment philosophy in that direction in favor of day-trading objectives. Frank is a licensed Series 65 Financial Advisor with nearly three decades of experience in the financial service industry which has provided Frank with broad exposure to stocks, bonds, options, fixed income investments, and private equity.

Before co-founding Augurey Ventures, Frank had great success in managing multiple private equity funds and has been involved in some of the biggest winners in the world of late stage investments. Throughout his career, he has assisted in funding more than one billion dollars of venture capital transactions. His background includes operations, management, and the structuring of private equity funds. The constant thread throughout Frank’s professional career has been the maintenance of his own retail business, catering mostly to high-net-worth individuals in the United States and internationally.

Cris has 25 years of Wall Street experience in trading, equities, investment banking, private equity and venture capital. Prior to co-founding Augurey Ventures, Cris acted as President and General Partner at Iron Edge, Senior Vice President of Equities at Garden State Securities, and Vice President of Sales at J.P. Turner.

Cris’s diverse experience within the financial industry has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of deal flow management in a variety of financial markets. Moreover, much of Cris’s industry experience has taken place within the context of leadership roles and building relationships all over Silicon Valley and Wall Street. Since Cris's transition from the public markets into the private sector, he has broken grounds by obtaining and offering access to highly coveted and traditionally reserved assets.

Edwin Plata began his career in the financial service and mortgage lending industry in 2001. In his recent years, Edwin explored late stage investments, working as a specialist at Iron Edge VC. He is dedicated to forging professional relationships that last a lifetime and achieves this by nurturing every transaction with excellence that cannot be matched and integrity that cannot be questioned.

After a long and successful career in Business Development, Ani Tlatelpa developed, owned, and operated multiple successful restaurants for nearly two decades in Bergen and Essex County, NJ. In Feb. 2020 Ani relocated to Miami Beach, Fl where she continued her career in Venture Capital with Iron Edge VC. Ani brings her knowledge and research capabilities to Augurey Ventures as Partner, specializing in both early and late state investments. Ani focuses on forging and maintaining long and fruitful relationships with her clients, upholding the highest levels of integrity.

Ayad is a well experienced financier. He has been working in the Investment industry since 2000 after completing his MBA in Houston. Ayad worked with the most prominent Swiss Banks covering Different International Geographical Regions including the Middle East. Throughout his 20+ years in finance, Ayad has worked at some of the most prestigious financial firms, such as: HSBC Private Bank, Merrill Lynch, Julius Baer Bank, and Indosuez Wealth Management. After two decades of Wealth Management, Ayad started working in the Private Equity Space in 2019. Ayad’s extensive International network and the trust that he has built among his clients made him a successful member within the Organization

Matthew has spent the last several years working as an operations specialist in Venture Capital. His previous experience in management has provided him with the tools to oversee multiple departments, promoting synergy and optimizing efficiency. Matthew graduated from William Paterson University with a B.A. in English Writing and his excellent communication skills help him navigate the complexities of the financial industries.
